They do it all of the time. The second I find out someone is a manager at a large company, I bolt. There's a reason they have that job. And it's not appealing. Work for an entrepreneur? You're sunk. The greed is astounding. As are the sales tactics and gaslighting to get you to stay. Don't get tricked by business. Always have your resume ready.

I like my coworkers, I consider them “work friends”. They are good, honest and hardworking people and I wish them well.

I'm applying for a nurse RN job at a hospital, this is specifically for a new grad RN training program opportunity. 🙏🙏🙏 After the interview the recruiter asked if i had any questions, and she gave me her buisiness card if i had any questions and said that i should expect a phone call by next week (if im chosen). They really liked my answers to their clinical based questions and nodded their heads and smiled, we laughed a few times too, i wanted to be down-to-earth yet corgial, i was very enthusiatic with them and smiled. I saw them take lots of notes when i replied with my answers, and when i answered certain ones right they said "good 👍". Please let me know your input. 🙏🙏 Also wanted to mentioned, they really liked my resume, and when i submitted my application they called me within 4 hours to schedule an interview. Does this mean anything? I have 8 years of healthcare experience and worked as a CNA and LVN, now applying for an RN role. Also they did say "if you were hired for this role, what would you expect to gain from this position?" And they asked what shifts I would be interested in Day or Night. I said, "im good with either or, im good with what you guys need me for , ive worked AM, PM, and graveyard". I kinda goofed on one question, but hopefully that doesnt make or break me out of all the questions they asked me. I would greatly appreciate your input on the above please. 🙏🙏🙏

I am really trying to reflect on all the things that went wrong at my job. Being a manager myself I know I am not perfect, I have a major flaw, I hate confronting people and conflict. So I put more pressure on myself to do more work. I realized management just isn't for me. It is mostly just a title though, wasn't trained at all, just given a shirt and more responsibility. Instead of trying to fix the issues, all my manager would do is say what isn't getting done. I tried my best in the position I was given, but a shirt doesn't make you a good manager or leader. It is a skill that needs to be learned. I hate being responsible for others work, I refuse to be brought down by the slackers anymore. I will find a job where I am responsible for my work alone. That is why I quit.

There is a lady at my current job who presents herself as a high performing, friendly coworker. However, she is one of the most vicious, unproductive people I ever worked with. She gossips most of the day and when she talks to you, she asks invasive questions in an effort to collect more info on you to gossip about.

I’ve worked in multiple places and all I’ve met are bad people: mean, loud, aggressive, bossy, belligerent, nasty, social climbers, as-kissers, I’ve seen them all!

I met some of the most nastiest and most belligerent coworkers in fast food. There were literal dragons working in there.

I had to learn this the hard way. I actually shared personal information to these f’ing coworkers I just met. Never again. They returned it with nastiness and belligerence. Never ever again am I trusting coworkers. I don’t give a f if I’m not a team player.

If you have a sick person in your family like you mother you can tell it to your supervisor?

I'm thinking about quitting my job yet again for I don't know how many times over the last five years. I suppose im watching videos to convince myself to actually do it. I can afford to not work for a long time. 1500 pound toolbox makes it a bit difficult, logistically. Only one manager and she is also HR. Heard a few days ago she may be buying the business soon. Things will not be getting better for me.

This guy knows what he is talking about. When I began a career with AT&T many years ago, a friend who was an AT&T retiree gave me the best advice of my professional life. "The company will chew you up and spit you out. Keep people at arms length. Don't become chummy with your co-workers. Guard your privacy. Keep your personal life private. It is impossible to keep from hearing gossip, but do not repeat what you hear. Large companies are notorious for backstabbing and using employees for doormats. Follow all company rules and never deviate from them. Kissing the boss's ass will get you nowhere. Concentrate and focus on performing your job to the best of your ability. Always be on guard to co-workers who will use you for their benefit. Many times you will be stepped on. Swallow your anger and never try to seek revenge on a boss or co-worket who has wronged you. Never say or do anything that will result in you being classified as a troublemaker." I followed my friend's advice and had a very successful career with AT&T. When I left the company. I had no close friendships with company employees, but I had the satisfaction of knowing I successfully performed my job to the best of my ability.

I experience all of this from my boss. I really loved the job and I sticked around only to have an admin hearing. I even underwent to counselling and don't know if I am going to resign until she convinces the mgt to have me terminated. I resigned rather than be placed to PIP. She was a black american. I was traumatized by the event. May God take care of her for me.
